The Arpin Houses
A great lumbering family is celebrated in two buildings owned by two brothers. The columned Dan Arpin House, located at 820 First Street North and built in 1901, was for many years a funeral home.
Ten years older is the majestic John Arpin House, located next door at 840 First Street North. Other Arpin houses, some still in existence, occupy nearby lots.
