New Hope Community Church
Home
Welcome to any who would like to worship with us. Whether you are visiting the area or looking for a church home, we invite you to stop and join us on a Sunday, as we lift up our lives to God.
New Hope Community Church was started North of Wisconsin Rapids, in the Vesper area, in 1898. We moved to Wisconsin Rapids in 1973. We are an evangelical congregation and a member of the Christian Reformed Church, a denomination which has its roots in the 16th-century Reformation, when the church was "reformed" in accordance with God's Word.
New Hope Community is so named because all people need hope, and we offer dynamic, exciting worship and practical, Biblically-based messages that are easy to understand and apply to your everyday life. Our services are open to the entire community, as well as any visitors in town.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God, the final authority on all matters of faith and life. We recognize Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the only Lord and Savior of those who accept him in faith. As a confessional church, we also affirm the Apostles' Creed, Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, and Canons of Dort as accurate summaries of Biblical doctrine.
Our mission statement is as follows: "Grounded in God's Word and aflame with God's Spirit, we are reaching up to God, reaching out to others, and reaching to each other to build the family of God." Through this mission, we seek to carry out God's fivefold purpose in the areas of worship, evangelism, ministry, fellowship, and discipleship.
Would you like to experience in a new way the hope and peace that God wants to give you? New Hope may be the place for you. Come and see for yourself!
